Faculty RW FAQs

In order for instructors to incorporate ResponseWare into either TurningPoint or TurningPoint Anywhere polling software, first, an account needs to be created, and then a session ID that participants will select when polling with a mobile device. Below are the steps to do so.

  1. Contact ITG at itgyale.edu to have an instructor account created using your Yale email address.
  2. Once the account has been created, an automated email will be sent containing directions to complete the registration process.*
  3. Go to the Turning Account page and fill out the Instructor form under Sign Up.

* If an account creation email is not received, check to see it was not filtered into a SPAM or Junk mailbox. If still unsuccessful in locating the email, visit http://www.rwpoll.com, click the "Login" link, and the "Forgot Password?" link on the next window. An email will be sent with instruction on resetting your password.

ResponseWare must be enabled from TurningPoint to allow participants the ability to poll with the software.  Below are steps for configuring your account and activating a session.
